I have an Armstrong 3000 Alto Saxophone and can't find info on the serial numbers. What little info there is for Armstrong is not even close to my serial number and the only numbers that are close are for the Flutes.
Aspupload serial key. Bosch e bike tuning software. Anyone have any idea where/how I can find more info?
Thanks! Keyboard splitter not working.
- Search for the serial number of the brand W. Armstrong to determine the age of your instrument.
- Feb 22, 2018 Assuming there's nothing seriously wrong with the horn (e.g. Requires a complete re-pad or the main body is bent) and it's in playing order then £150 for an Armstrong alto sax is a pretty good price. There are plenty of worse student horns out there than an Armstrong. Ask your saxophone teacher to look it over for you to check it plays correctly.

I have the same question. The one that we have is an Armstrong 3000 with the serial number 6186.
However, all the serial numbers for Armstrong Alto Sax's seem to be 7 digit numbers.
If you find out any other information can you please let me know?!?
Thank You

will do, liz, but unfortunately i haven't been able to find anything additional to what i posted above.. i have SN 10,196 which, as stated above, doesn't relate to the sax listings i can find and only fits the Flute serial numbers.

It sounds similar to the SN that I stated was 6186
And I have also found that the sites that discuss #'s all appear to be related to flutes?? I am looking forward to hearing what other think!!!
Ours seems to be working very well though. How is your working?

i know by most it's considered a 'student' sax.. but i've had mine for over 20 yrs and love it. it has a great mellow tone and friendly ergonomics.. granted, i can't say that i've played a $6,000 'professional' sax, but this one works well for me and i enjoy it.. it was a great improvement to the bundy's and yamaha's i started with and my peers were playing back in the day!
